the game

climb, combo, rise

HotDog Rise plays like a classic arcade climber: an endless tower, wall-jumps and chained combos, where reflexes and timing decide how far you get. It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile, built in Unity and wrapped in a pixel-art lobby.

Underneath the arcade sits a real reward loop. Instead of points, the prizes are stock tokens on Robinhood Chain — paid out every week to the players who climbed best.

how it works

one loop, five steps

Everything in the game feeds a single loop: switch on a GameBoy, climb, earn Bones, level it up, claim the week's prize — and go again. Each step below is the game's own pixel art.

the characters

3,000 GameBoys, each racing a stock

The HDR GameBoys are the game's collectible characters — a fixed set of 3,000. Each carries a stock identity, which decides the weekly race it enters and the stock token it can win, and a tier, which sets how big a slice of that race it can claim.

Hold more than one and each enters its own race: several shots at the weekly pools at once.

activation

activate, burn the fee

GameBoys start dormant. Activating one is paid in $RISE, and that $RISE is burned — not collected by a treasury or the team — so every activation shrinks the supply.

Activation belongs to the owner: sell or transfer a GameBoy and the new owner activates it again. The tier travels with the token and is never reset.

Bones

earn as you climb

Bones are the in-game currency — a game-side balance you build by playing, not a token you trade. Every 10-combo streak pays a Bone (capped per run), and practice runs, quests and referrals pay too.

They're spent on what makes the game yours: tier upgrades, skins and particles, and capsules.

tiers & multipliers

T0 to T5, anti-whale

Bones level a GameBoy up one tier at a time, with a day's cooldown between steps. Each tier claims a bigger slice of the weekly pool — but the steps shrink as you climb, so upgrading always helps and a maxed GameBoy can never run away with the race.

It stays a game of skill: the tier amplifies what you earn, it never replaces playing well.

weekly stock prize pool

a weekly stock race

Each week is its own prize round, with one pool per stock. Your slice is your weight — tier multiplier × weekly score — over everyone's in that race. No lottery, no hidden knobs: alone in a race, the whole pool is yours; no play that week, no slice.

When the week closes, winners claim the stock token itself, straight to their wallet. GamePass players race in a separate $RISE pool, so they never dilute a stock race.

the weekly leaderboard

PvP

1v1, winner takes 85%

Head to head on the same tower. Both players stake $RISE into an on-chain escrow and the winner takes 85% of the pot. The 15% rake flows back into the economy — most of it to the weekly prize pool, the rest burned.

Paid duels switch on with the $RISE launch; until then, a free Bone tier lets anyone spar without risking a thing.

shop, capsules & passes

skins, loot & passes

Bones buy skins and particles in the shop, and open capsules — loot drops that roll for cosmetics, with a chance at rarer rewards. Premium capsules open with USDG for better odds.

No GameBoy? A GamePass gets you into the game and onto the leaderboard, with an XP boost for the climb up the standings. Boosters stack on top for a few days at a time: more Bones, faster energy refills, a bigger tank.

the economy

follow the money

The wheel is lit by the mint — more than 70% of it seeds the weekly prize pools and $RISE liquidity — and kept turning by automatic splits. Each one is a hard-coded constant in its splitter contract: no setter, no admin override.

Rewards grow with every sale, trade and duel, $RISE only gets scarcer, and bigger prizes pull in more players. The healthiest thing anyone can do for the economy is simply to play.
