İlk Kelimelerim, or My First Words, is a picture book for children aged 0 to 3. I illustrated and laid it out, and it appears here as hardcover mockups. The back cover sets the aim: help a child discover what goes on around them every day, and encourage looking and learning. The front is a blue field of flat drawings of everyday things, from a police car and a fire truck to fruit and the numbers 1 to 4. Each spread shown takes one topic under a yellow ribbon label: colours around a paint palette, vegetables with their names, and the numbers 1 to 10 dressed in small objects.
