Ray of Light Album Concept

Madonna's album Ray of Light gets a concept cover here, mocked up as a CD in a jewel case. I built the front around one portrait: her face tipped upward, cut into flat pink and black shapes on a blue-violet ground. Her name runs across the top in heavy pink capitals with a stacked shadow, and the title sits smaller in condensed lilac type to the right. Inside, a larger version of the portrait fills the disc, and the facing panel carries the track list in narrow lilac capitals. Blues and lilacs run through the whole design, with pink as the only warm colour.
