Acrophobia Poster
A self-initiated seminar poster on the fear of heights, made from my own photo of a high-rise set on a diagonal.
Acrophobia is the fear of heights, and this self-initiated poster for a psychology seminar tries to make you feel it. It grew out of research into how people with acrophobia describe the feeling. The image starts from my own photograph of a high-rise, shot from street level looking up. In Photoshop I cut the building out and set two copies on a diagonal across a black field, one turned upside down. I blurred them, since blurred vision is one of its signs, to deepen the empty gap between them. The title, AKROFOBİ, runs letter by letter through that gap, with the seminar details in Turkish around it.
