Choose an unusual product, name it, then build its branding, advertising and packaging: that was the brief. My product was a fictional milk cookie made with aloe vera, and the brand became Aleo. The logo is a line-drawn aloe rosette above the ALEO wordmark in dark green. On the pouch, illustrated cookies flecked with green sit among long green leaves and milk splashes on a pale mint ground, with a script product name and a sugar- and gluten-free claim. The back carries a Turkish-English nutrition table. A city-light poster on a warm sand background asks passers-by whether they have ever tried one.
